Ramya Sriram
Ramya Sriram, A Quality Assurance Manager by profession, currently working at Konecranes Global Oy. Originally from India and has been living in Finland for the past 10 years. She is a proud mother of two wonderful boys, and reside in Espoo with her family.
Beyond her professional life, She has a deep passion for photography, cycling, badminton, traveling, doodling, and networking. In 2015, She co-founded the Indian Women in Finland Ry (IWF Ry) along with the board, with a mission to empower women, support each other, and grow together. Through IWF, she has had the privilege of making lifelong friendships and contributing to a thriving community.
Krithika Srinivasan
Krithika or Kit as called by friends and colleagues is a Senior Manager at the Global Engagement team of Aalto University. She is responsible for developing and managing some of the strategic international partnerships for the university.
With several years of experience working in diverse fields and cultures, Kit finds her contentment in mentoring and guiding people from all walks of life towards their development in matters related to education, career and living in Finland. She is an empathetic listener and a trusted friend and colleague to many. She loves the quote “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit” from Aristotle.
Vaishali Doshi
Vaishali is a Regional Sales Director at HCL Nordics. She is growth hacker, instrumental in driving sales and revenue growth, strategic business development and customer relationship management for large Nordic enterprises. Vaishali volunteers in local communities and she is an evangelist and advocate about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) agenda, leading and driving various initiatives focused on women empowerment and growth, culture coaching and mentoring. Vaishali is a board member of Indian Women in Finland (IWF Ry), where she is instrumental in organizing various events, co-leading the mentorship program, and has hosted various talk shows. Vaishali is actively engaged with Indian embassy in Finland and is serving as Key Coordinator for Friends of India community. Vaishali takes pride in raising her 2 wonderful daughters, and lives in Espoo with her family forward to meet more”.
Suneeta Kadali
Suneeta Kadali is a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant by profession with 9 years of experience in IT recruitment and is skilled at developing productive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
She hails from Vizag, Andhra Pradesh (South India), and has lived in Espoo, Finland since 2007 with her family. She is blessed to have her beautiful daughter who is 10 years old and a proud owner of her pet, Red Irish Setter ( Rusty our boy) who is 2 years old now.
Interests: Music, Sports , Antiques, Interior designing and social work(old homages)
Personality: Light hearted , positive, sportive and definitely a good listener. Most importantly she is a typical pet lover who loves animals in general, especially dogs!!
She is not a technical person at all… that stuff flies over her head. So when a bunch of techies talk technical stuff in front of her, you should know that her face and expressions are very serious but her brain is partying elsewhere 😉
Shalini Kannan
Shalini is a seasoned Customer Engagement professional with a decade of experience in fostering strong customer relationships.
Originally hailing from Coimbatore, India, she has been making her mark in Finland for the past five years.
As a mother to a lively two-year-old boy, she finds joy in the balance of her professional and personal life.
Her interests are as diverse as her skills; she enjoys traveling to new places, experimenting with recipes, and stays active with a game of badminton.
Archana Krishnamoorthy
Archana Krishnamoorthy works as a Test Automation specialist at Nokia. Living in Finland for the last 8 years and a mother of two lovely daughters. Passionate about singing, playing volleyball and engaging with kids. She is very friendly , positive, and approachable person, enthusiastic about learning/doing new things.
Associated with IWF for almost the last 7 years, enjoys celebrating women & culture. IWF has played a role in making new connections and friends.
Maithri Palicha
Maithri Palicha Kaji, works as an entrepreneur with having her own company called Findiasta. Currently Findiasta makes its own products such as Postcards, dish clothes and many more stationary products.
Apart from making its own products the company also represent growing sustainable brands around the world in Scandinavian market. She lives with her Husband. She is also passionate about cooking, baking and reading books.
Agilandeeswary Arunagiri
Agilandeeswary Arunagiri, is living in Espoo with her family for the past 12 years and honoured to serve as a board member of IWF group and to contribute to a community that empowers and uplifts women. As an IT Professional, she brings a strong foundation in technology, problem-solving, and strategic thinking, along with a passion for continuous learning and growth.
For the past two years, she has been also served as a board member of Finland Tamil Sangam, where she has been actively involved in community initiatives, cultural programs, and organizational development. This experience has strengthened her passion for service, collaboration, and creating meaningful impact within the community.
As a board member, she is committed to fostering meaningful connections, supporting impactful programs, and helping create opportunities that inspire personal and professional development. She look forward to collaborating with this incredible community of women to make a lasting and positive difference.
Nandini Sridhar
A Business Technology graduate and IT Engineer by profession, Nandini lives in Espoo and is originally from Bengaluru, Karnataka. She enjoys a calm and balanced lifestyle and finds joy in simple things. Spending time in nature helps her relax, and she loves being outdoors whenever she can. She believes in staying positive, going with the flow, and appreciating everyday moments.
Learning is a big part of her life, and she sees it as an ongoing journey. She enjoys reading and exploring new ideas that help her grow and see things differently. Singing and listeningto music help her unwind, while playing badminton keeps her active and refreshed. Nandini has been involved in various volunteering activities in the past and finds it a rewarding way to support her community. She enjoys meaningful conversations and likes connecting with people.
Yatri Shah
Yatri Shah is an university professor and financial entrepreneur from India. Moved to Finland in 2023.
She feels that life is journey of learning. And for her, leadership and learning are inseparable. She recently reached a personal milestone of 100 certifications, representing a deep dive into diverse fields including volunteerism, professional workshops, and community event management. This isn’t just about collecting titles; it is a reflection of her drive to remain "ever-green" — ensuring that the insights she brings to the community are backed by current knowledge and a global perspective.
Beyond the numbers, her heart is in spreading awareness. Whether she is facilitating a workshop or advocating for a local initiative, she is dedicated to empowering people through the same spirit of discovery that drives her own journey. She looks forward to growing alongside this community and building a future everyone can be proud of.
Roshni Gurnani
Roshni Gurnani is passionate about uplifting women and giving back to society, and is therefore, volunteering as a board member for IWF Finland. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Project Management and moved to Finland in 2025. She has 4+ years of
experience as a senior software/project coordinator at an IT services MNC.
Roshni actively involved with various other NGOs and enjoys spending her free time reading, crocheting and crafting. She hopes to use this opportunity as a board member for IWF to improve the lives of women, build stronger connections, and have fun while doing so. Above all, she is excited to be part of a community that inspires her and pushes her to grow, both personally and professionally.
Devi Poomaram
Devi Poomaram moved to Finland in 2019 and is originally from the beautiful state of Kerala, India. An IT professional and former teacher in Bangalore, she was actively involved in educational and cultural initiatives, bringing energy and creativity to every project she participated in.
Beyond her professional journey, Devi finds joy in volunteering, organizing cultural events, and engaging with the community. She has been actively involved with many non-profit organizations, contributing to social, cultural, and communication initiatives that bring people together.
She also loves reading and dancing, which add balance and inspiration to her life. Known for her friendly, positive, and hardworking nature, she is passionate about fostering connections, celebrating culture, and making a meaningful
impact within the community.
Vennela Manupaati
Vennela Manupaati, an Environment Engineering professional by background, has experience working as an Environmental Specialist with a municipal corporation in India. Originally from Hyderabad, India, she is currently based in Espoo, Finland. She is a mother and an active member of the community.
Beyond her professional life, Vennela is deeply passionate about sustainability, climate action, and community engagement. She enjoys learning, volunteering, and contributing to initiatives that promote environmental responsibility and social impact. Through her involvement in community-focused organisations, she values meaningful connections, shared growth, and supporting women and families to thrive together.
Sakshi Kotiyal
Sakshi Kotiyal is a Helsinki-based lawyer working at the intersection of dispute resolution, international trade law, and ESG regulation. She serves as a governance advisor to Suomen Caritas Ry, with a focus on risk management and data governance.
Previously, she practised in chambers before the Supreme Court of India in New Delhi. She holds a master’s in international public policy from University College London and is dual-qualified as an attorney in India and England & Wales.
She is drawn to Helsinki’s design culture and winter light, values diverse perspectives, and spends her free time reading widely.
Gomathi Palanisamy
Gomathi Palanisamy, lives in Espoo with her family and two wonderful children. She is an experienced IT professional with a background working across various business domains in India and Finland. Currently, she is a part of the Capital Market Services team, contributing to the Crosskey Banking solution and supporting banking operations.
Outside of her professional role, she believes in maintaining a balanced and active lifestyle. She enjoys reading books that broaden her perspective, staying disciplined with her daily gym workouts, and engaging in personal writing as a creative outlet. She is passionate about community involvement and gladly volunteer for cultural programs, sports activities, and mentorship initiatives whenever possible. She enjoys choreographing and performing dances with her friends, and she actively participates in badminton tournaments and other ball sports competitions. After moving to Finland, she embraced cross-country skiing as a new hobby, and she enjoys practicing it with her family.
Vismit Chawla
Vismit is a talent acquisition and people experience professional with experience across India, Denmark, and Finland. She is passionate about connecting diverse talent with meaningful opportunities and advising teams on modern, inclusive hiring practices. She actively advocates for diversity, equity, and inclusion across talent acquisition, talent development, and talent management activities.
Currently, she works at Fiskars Group as a Talent Acquisition & People Experience Manager, where I thrive in dynamic environments driven by curiosity, creativity, and human‑centered thinking that creates real impact.
