Kidathon 2025 - A Fun-Filled Family Run!

It all started with a casual chat among enthusiastic Indian women living in Finland—how can we create something FUN for kids? Talent show? Spelling Bee? No! This year, Finland has been blessed with the BEST weather, so we unanimously decided—let’s take it outdoors! And so, Kidathon 2025 season 2  was born!

Join us on Saturday, September 6th, at Leppävaara Stadium for a day filled with joy, energy, and family fun!

 

Kidathon warmly welcomes all kids aged 0 to 12 years old to participate in this exciting event.

Minimarathon Family Run - A Run for Everyone!

The whole family can be part of this event, cheering for the youngest members as they cross the finish line. Every child participating in the Kidathon will receive a tshirt, participation medal, warm juice at the finish line, and lifelong happy memories!

There is timing in the event—each participant can choose to run  at their own pace, whether sprinting or taking it easy. Each runner will have a bib number attached to their official Kidathon t-shirt.

NEW for 2025: The Kidathon Family Run Package allows a child’s accompanying person to participate in the fun run together!

Registration & Fees

  • Entry Fee: Includes a Kidathon t-shirt (running shirt) and a bib with optional text.

  • Kidathon Family Run: 18€/accompanying person.

Race Categories & Start Times

  • 1-3 years old: ~8:45 AM at the 100 Meter Zone

  • 4-6 years old: ~9:05 AM at the 200 Meter Zone

  • 7-9 years old: ~9:20 AM at the 300 Meter Zone

  • 12 months & under: 10:00 AM at the Diaper Dash Zone

Participant Information & Confirmation

  • QR Code Pickup: You’ll receive a QR code one week before the event via email. Please have this ready when collecting your participant package at the registration desk.

  • T-shirt Pickup: Be prepared to tell the official your child’s t-shirt size.

  • No Confirmation Email? Check your junk/spam folder!

  • Cancellation Policy: Registrations are final; no cancellations or refunds possible.

Kidathon on kevät hauskin lasten oma juoksutapahtumasarja 13-vuotiaille ja sitä nuoremmille lapsille. Valittavissa on 100m, 200m, 500m tai 1000m matka, ja maalissa juoksijoita odottaa mitali ja virvokkeita. Tapahtumapaikalla riittää nähtävää ja koettavaa koko perheelle!
